Narval and the local area: a deep-rooted relationship
Our deep connection with the local area and our awareness of the social responsibility of a company that has been active for over 85 years are the principles that inspire the Narval Group’s presence in the artistic, social and cultural spheres. It is a presence reflected in the numerous events held each year, particularly in Turin and Milan, including exhibitions, concerts, conferences, and the preservation and promotion of the artistic and architectural heritage.
Support:
for families
and for culture
Narval Investimenti has created and supports two foundations: the Fondazione Paideia, which helps struggling children and families, and the Fondazione Renzo Giubergia for the artistic development of young talented musicians.
Our involvement among the founding members of the Teatro Regio di Torino, one of Italy’s most prestigious opera houses, our collaboration with important institutions (Unione Musicale, GAM, FAI) and our participation in the Consulta per la Valorizzazione dei Beni Artistici e Culturali della Città di Torino (Council for the Enhancement of the Artistic and Cultural Heritage of the City of Turin) confirm this commitment.

Fondazione Paideia
Fondazione Paideia
The Fondazione Paideia was founded in 1993 by the Giubergia and Argentero families. The foundation works to improve the living conditions of children and families experiencing hardship by promoting its own specific initiatives and fostering the development of effective and innovative social interventions. Recognised as a socially useful NPO in 1997, today it is actively supported by the Ersel Group and numerous other donors.
Over the past three decades, and thanks to nearly two hundred projects supported or developed, the foundation has facilitated more than 1,500 families with children suffering from disabilities or chronic illnesses through individual and group initiatives for demanding parenthood.
Paideia is committed on a daily basis to assisting families in need, experimenting with models of social intervention and creating environments that facilitate the happy development of children and the realisation of their potential, an experience that is beneficial to families, the community and culture.
In 2018, the foundation opened the Centro Paideia, a 3,000 m2 area offering assistance to families with children suffering from disabilities, child rehabilitation initiatives, sports activities, courses and workshops open to everyone.
In 2019, the Paideia Social Farm was founded in Baldissero Torinese as a site where families can experiment and share an experience in contact with nature.
Always attentive to social issues, in 2020, as a contribution to the Coronavirus emergency, the Giubergia and Argentero families allocated €3 million through Ersel Investimenti, the group’s financial holding company at the time.

Fondazione Renzo Giubergia
Fondazione Renzo Giubergia
Created in 2012 to honour the memory of Ersel’s Chairman and renew his commitment, the Renzo Giubergia Foundation helps and promotes talented young musicians, while enhancing places of special cultural and artistic interest in the Turin area.
In cooperation with the city’s most prestigious institutions, the foundation organises concerts, competitions and other high-profile initiatives to promote the discovery and enjoyment of buildings and spaces of great architectural or environmental value that are sometimes overlooked by the general public.
A historical area can of course be visited on its own, independent of the activities it hosts. In many cases, however, the location, the opening hours or the absence of media coverage do not facilitate fruition, hence the foundation’s role in pushing and supporting promotion.
The basis of the organization’s activities is Ersel’s years of experience and attention to the world of culture and the arts at the behest of its founder, the engineer Renzo Giubergia, twice Chairman of the Consulta per la Valorizzazione dei Beni Artistici di Torino and founding partner of the Fondazione Teatro Regio. It is precisely the network of collaborations and contacts that Ersel has built up over the years, through numerous public and private entities for the production or support of cultural events, that forms the framework on which the Renzo Giubergia Foundation rests.
In its programme, particular attention is paid to the nature of the buildings, their history and the history of the area in which they are located. The belief is that the coherence between space and event offers a more fluid and engaging experience, amplifying both the artistic beauty of the venue and the value of the musical offer.
